Custom 3D Art Prototyping for Cassady Bell

We just finished up with a prototype of some custom 3D artwork designed by local visual artist Cassady Bell (who also happens to own The Black Hexagon tattoo shop here in Portland).

We had a blast converting his work into a 3D model that we could machine on our CNC. It was certainly a bit different than our typical work, but we were able to wrangle the design into something that we could machine relatively efficiently.

As it's a prototype we ran this on MDF, and we think it came out great. Cassady seems to agree, and we're super excited to test this out with more materials, and see what other designs his wild brain can come up with.
